Set Up EPIX IPTV on MAG Box
MAG boxes connect to EPIX IPTV through a built-in portal using your device MAC address and a portal URL sent by EPIX IPTV. No separate IPTV app install is required.
Note: This guide is for compatible third-party IPTV player apps. App screens, availability, and features may change depending on the app version, device, region, and app store.

What You'll Need From EPIX IPTV
MAG boxes use a built-in portal instead of a separate IPTV app. Send your MAC address when you request access, and EPIX IPTV will provide the portal URL to enter on the box.
- MAC address Hardware ID on your MAG box (e.g. 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX) — found on the device sticker or in Settings → System Information.
- Portal URL Sent by EPIX IPTV after your MAC address is registered. Paste the full portal URL exactly as provided.
If your access message includes different portal instructions, follow those details or contact support before changing anything.
Find your MAG box MAC address
The MAC address looks like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. Find it on the sticker on the bottom or back of the device, or on screen at Settings → System Information.
Enter the MAC address exactly as shown, including colons.
Send your MAC address to EPIX IPTV
Include your MAC address when you place an order or message support. EPIX IPTV will register the device and send the Portal URL for the next step.
Open portal settings
On the MAG box, go to Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals. You only need to configure Portal 1.
Enter the portal name and URL
Set Portal 1 Name to any label (e.g. EPIX IPTV). Paste the Portal 1 URL exactly as sent by EPIX IPTV. Leave Portal 2 empty and confirm.
Restart the portal
Save settings, then select Restart Portal or power-cycle the box. The first load can take 30–60 seconds while the channel list downloads.
Browse channels
Use the remote arrow keys to browse the channel grid and press OK to play. Press EPG on the remote for the programme guide if available.
Common issues
- Portal not loading Confirm the portal URL was pasted exactly as sent and that your MAC address was registered with EPIX IPTV.
- MAC address rejected Re-enter the MAC address exactly as shown on the box, including all characters and colons.
